I guess I should introduce myself and tell you a little bit about me….I am Ellie….full time Mummy of 3 little monkeys and Wifey.
Before I became a mum I was working in London for big Investment Banks for about 10 years.
I worked hard to succeed and loved every minute. I worked long hours and enjoyed the lavish lifestyle of late nights and high end entertainment.
I am a big ‘Go hard or go home’ type of person and as you can imagine knew that after 10 years of living it big into the early hours… I was ready to settle down and start a family.
I was engaged in September, married in December and pregnant in January….haha…I told you….Go hard or go home!
Obviously being the clutz that I am, I needed major dental work amongst all of this short turn around after I snapped off my front tooth at the root…on chocolate straight out of the fridge haha (oh how I did not laugh at the time that my tooth turned into a cat flap!).
I am a chocoholic so this will not be very shocking to those that know me!
My children are 8 (Leia), 6 (Lottie) and 4 (Lochlan). And just like any mum they are my entire world and I spend every moment worrying/caring/loving them…as well as obviously constantly feeding them, tidying up their toys and saving them from their own danger infused play!!!
All of them have such different personalities and needs. With Dyslexia, Intolerances, Allergies and skin issues they more than keep me on my toes and open my mind to a different thought process and learning practise as well as a much healthier eating pattern.
Now I am at a crossroads with my youngest starting school in September…I find myself in limbo of not being needed as much for daily tasks but even more so for emotional support.
However, with major house renovations underway for our ‘forever house’ I am more than occupied and spend most of my time focused on this big project.
I obviously will always have that girl in me who loves to enjoy life to the max, have fun with her friends, party until the bitter end, eat all the cake and always with a smile on my face!
So come and share my journeys of motherhood, house renovations, fashion, make-up, travel, food and of course cocktails!
